Trusting Our Voices

We celebrate the Trinity Sunday this week as Pastor Chris shares the message "Trusting Our Voices" based on Romans 5:1-5 & John 16:12-15. Come join us for the message, as well as fellowship and praise, Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

Children are welcome in worship with the opportunity to go to Sunday school after their own special message. Nursery care is available during the service.

Our Minister

Rev. Christopher Heitkamp is the fifth installed pastor of our congregation since coming to this location in 1958. Originally from Michigan, Pastor Chris came to The Reformed Church in 2009 under a cooperative contract with Rev. Dr. Arlen Salthouse while finishing his schooling at New Brunswick Theological Seminary in New Brunswick, NJ. Upon his graduation and ordination, Dr. Salthouse retired and Pastor Chris accepted a call to be our pastor in September of 2010.

Prior to entering the ministry, Pastor Chris served in the United States Marine Corps where he served onboard the USS Kitty Hawk, and the USS Long Beach, as well as at Camp LeJeune, NC. Upon his discharge from the service he attended Trenton State College (now known as The College of NJ), and served as an elementary teacher for 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th grade classes for 16 years.

Pastor Chris lives in Flemington, NJ with his wife and three teenage sons. He enjoys singing barbershop music, loves baseball, especially his Detroit Tigers, and vacationing in the Catskills.
